Battlegroup Wargame System & Combined Arms Wargame System

I am the developer and production manager for these ongoing projects to create a suite of nested Battalion- to Platoon-level educational and training games for the British Army.

The project involves working with the design team and subject matter experts to create systems that are both playable and realistic, while meeting the educational needs of the Army.

Purple Haze

I was the Lead Developer and rules writer for Purple Haze, an RPG-style adventure/survival game set during the Vietnam War.


This was a very large project, with over 160,000 words of text, 21 unique missions, 4 expansions and multiple rulebooks, aids, boards and components.

CUSTOS-AI

I am managing the development and production of this educational card game for the University of Greenwich on the risks of hacking of AI-enabled products and services.

 

The task is to design a 2-player adversarial card game with educational value, teachable and playable in 15-30 minutes, and to manage the design and production process to produce 1,000 copies within 4 months.

Unhappy King Charles

I was the Lead Developer on the new edition of this strategy wargame set during the English Civil War.

 

The project involved a complete re-write of the rulebook and player aids, extensive work on the user interface of the game, and the development of a solo mode for the game.
